In the center of a remote area of federal property, Utah state workers have found a nearly 12-foot-high metal mysterious monolith, and they have no idea what planet it comes from.

When they saw the mysterious object and landed in the field to check it out, members of the Utah Wildlife Resources Division counted bighorn sheep by helicopter in southeastern Utah, the Utah Department of Public Safety said in a report.

The agency is withholding the location of the find in the red-rock region south of Moab. Its location is so remote that the people would potentially get lost if people visited the site.

Between summer 2015 and fall 2016, the structure was placed there sometime between

The metal framework appeared sometime between August 2015 and October 2016, according to Google Earth’s historical point of view.

No apparent indication of who left the monolith was given. The department poked fun at the possibility that the structure was left behind by aliens.

The crew took several pictures of the site and posed with an object that resembles the giant slab from the 1968 film “2001: A Space Odyssey.” an iconic scene.

The mysterious metal monolith recently discovered in the remote desert of Utah has mysteriously disappeared.

But on Saturday, the Bureau of Land Management said that the mysterious monolith had been removed by an unknown group from public land.

They reported that the structure that is considered private property was not removed and that reports were received that the community had relocated the mysterious monolith on November 27.

The post also claimed that BLM does not prosecute private property offenses that would come under the local sheriff’s office.

The mysterious metal monolith was discovered in Romania the same day that a similar one disappeared in Utah.

A mysterious monolith was discovered on the top of a hill in Romania on the same day that a similar one was reported missing in Utah.

Utah state workers counting sheep by helicopter across federal lands south of Moab found a metal structure at the foundation of a red-rock formation on November 18.

Authorities were perplexed and joked that they could be aliens.

The Bureau of Land Management responded that the mysterious monolith was declared missing on Friday and was gone on Saturday.

The Romanian news outlet Ziar Piatra Neamt also posted on Friday about discovering a monolith on Batca Doamnei, a hill near Piatra Neamt, a northeastern town.

The two sculptures, although identical, have some differences.

According to the Ziar Piatra Neamt article, the Romanian sculpture is around 3 or 4 meters high and appears to be hollow.

A third metal monolith has emerged in California, which is almost an exact match for the two monoliths that vanished in Utah and Romania.

Mysterious Monolith in California

In the last two weeks, metal monolith mania has spread around the world.

Now, atop Pine Mountain in Atascadero, California, a third metal slab has emerged.

On Wednesday morning, hikers came upon the 10-foot-tall, stainless-steel monolith. It’s almost an exact match for the two other metal monoliths that have emerged in the last two weeks in Utah and Romania.

According to the local Atascadero News source, the California monolith was three-sided, much like the one in Utah. But this 200-pound structure was not securely anchored to the ground and could be knocked over with a firm drive, unlike the one in the Utah desert.

Where this new mysterious monolith comes from and why it was put up is unknown. But local hiker Ray Johnson told the Atascadero News on Tuesday that the structure was not there.

 Popular theories

Extra-terrestrial roots: The most common hypothesis, which is perhaps only half-jokingly bandaged, is that these monoliths are art-facts left on earth by an alien race, like the mysterious object the Kubrick film.

No apparent indication of who erected these monoliths was given. State officials from Utah poked fun at the possibility that aliens left the system behind.

In a 1968 film “2001: A Space Odyssey.” all three seem to be identical to the giant slab from an iconic sequence.

Although a leading hypothesis stated by the New York Times suggests that the Utah structure is a work by the US artist John McCracken, both monoliths’ origin and eventual disappearance remain a mystery.

In 2011, McCracken died, or did he?
