1. Sethu

sethu vikram movie

Vikram’s performance in Sethu earned him widespread acclaim as an actor and director Bala. The debut film of the latter won a National award in the Best Tamil Film category. This powerful character, which develops from a cool adolescent – ‘Chiyaan’ (which became his tag) in the first half to a mental illness patient quartered in an asylum in the second half, required Vikram to demonstrate his emoting and performing ability. The dramatic weight reduction and baldness for the role demonstrate Vikram’s passion for Sethu and his character, which cannot be readily digested as you will be moved after seeing this film.

2. Pithamagan

Pithamagan

One of Vikram’s best films. The character Chithan, portrayed by Vikram, is about a young man who grows up in a graveyard among burning corpses and how he interacts with his newest family member Sakthi, played superbly by Surya. Chithan, a character with nasty body language and without sufficient disclosure, had his emotions and feelings communicated by Vikram, a fantastic actor. Having lived his entire life with corpses, the way Chithan interacts with his family and his performance at the climax made our hearts melt as it is one of Vikram’s best performances that will never be replicated.

Furthermore, the character was developed with a suitable vision and specific distinctive regulations. Vikram created Aarusaamy as an evergreen character who is fresh and easily visitable every time.

4. Anniyan

anniyam

Shankar’s Anniyan was notoriously famous for the concept of split personality. Vikram had a golden opportunity to score with three personalities Ambi, Anniyan, and Remo, in a single film. The calm and disciplined Ambi, the passionate Remo, and the furiously enraged Anniyan as these personas reside in a single man and are presented with fast shifts deserved an actor like Vikram, and he delivered. Anniyan is one of Vikram’s best films because of its social concern and the engaging play of the characters.
