Bread crumb is the least used part of the bread. While making sandwiches, we often cut out the edges of the bread. The mixture that is prepared after grinding the leftover bread is called bread crumb. Bread crumbs are prepared from the bread that is now fresh and can’t be taken into use as it is. There are several easy dishes that you can prepare using bread crumbs. For preparing a perfect bread crumb mixture, you need to leave fresh bread for 3 to 5 days. The perfect way to prepare bread crumbs is grinding toasted bread in a jar. You can either toast the bread or dry the bread before grinding it to get a rich mixture.

Sweet Potato Fritters

You need just half an hour to make sweet potato fritters that you can have with a cup of coffee or tea. Peel fresh sweet potatoes after washing them. Now, grate the sweet potato and put it in a bowl. Put freshly chopped onion in another bowl. Get one capsicum and chop it finely as well. Beat two eggs in a bowl and mix the grated sweet potato, onion and capsicum in the mixture. Now, add nearly 2 cups of bread crumbs, salt and pepper to the mixture. Prepare small balls using the mixture and deep fry them in a pan until they turn brown. Serve the dish with tomato ketchup.

Potato Croquettes

Who doesn’t love potato fritter right? It’s time to have them with a twist. For preparing potato croquettes, you need to boil 4-5 potatoes and mash them in a bowl after they are boiled. Saute one finely chopped onion, garlic in a pan. Mix the sauteed onion and garlic with mashed potatoes. Add salt and pepper to the mixture. Add 1 egg yolk to the mixture and beat the mixture to give it a smooth texture. Prepare small balls from the mixture and coat them with a mixture of all-purpose flour and 2 whole eggs. Finally, dip the balls in a cup filled with bread crumbs. Deep fry these balls and enjoy them with your favourite sauce.

Mozzarella Sticks

Another great snack for the millennials, Mozzarella Sticks are easier to prepare than pronounce. Cut 250 gm of mozzarella cheese into long sticks. Mix a cup of all-purpose flour with salt and pepper to prepare the coating. Add water to the mixture to make a batter. Now, dip the mozzarella sticks into the batter. Finally, roll the sticks into the mixture of bread crumbs. Now, deep fry the sticks until they turn golden brown. If you want to avoid oil, you can also bake the sticks.

Fried Corn Patties

We all know about potato patties and paneer patties. It’s time to try some corn patties. Put half a kg of corn in a cooker, add a pinch of salt and boil the corn for a few minutes. After boiling, blend the corn using a blender. Add a cup of sweet corn cream, sugar and salt as per your taste, grated carrots, a litre of milk and half a cup of water in the boil. After mixing the ingredients in the bowl well, cook it on a pan over medium flame. After heating, put the corn mixture in a bowl and add cheese to it.

Now, spread the mixture on a tray using a spatula. Then cut the mixture into desired shapes and add half a cup of cornflour and all-purpose flour each in a bowl. Add salt, pepper and water to the mixture for coating the shapes. After coating the patties with the mixture, roll it in a bowl containing bread crumbs. Finally, deep fry the patties until they turn golden brown.

Bread Crumbs Spaghetti

In just a matter of 20 to 30 minutes, you can prepare this tasty pasta. Prepare the desired amount of spaghetti pasta and saute half a cup of breadcrumbs and chopped garlic in a pan. Saute the bread crumbs until they turn brown. After turning brown, put the bread crumbs into a bowl and mix half a cup of nutritional yeast with the mixture. Now, put the pasta in a pan and add the breadcrumbs mixture and lemon juice to it. Add salt, pepper and oregano as per the taste. Your pasta will be ready in a moment of a few minutes.
