TEGALALANG VILLAGE
The terraced rice fields of the village of Tegalalang, developed for step-farming purposes, are more than 2,000 years old. You can see locals working in the paddy fields alongside palm trees and a rushing river here. This place is an ideal countryside getaway. Local homemade items could be found here and even buy them.
VIEW FROM KINTAMANI
A day trip to the village of Kintamani entails ascending Mount Batur, which is a tiny volcano. You can see active volcanic cones along the hill as you walk up the mountain. It takes a couple of hours to ascend the mountain and once you hit the summit, you will be blessed with beautiful views from here.
SACRED MONKEY FOREST
With long-tailed macaques being the major crowd pullers, the holy monkey forest is an adventure in itself. This 11th-century Gunung Kawi shrine is spread over 27 acres of land, popularly known as the Holy Monkey Park.
This location, situated in Ubud, is such a contrast to the city. A thick jungle, hundreds of monkeys, and three ancient temples make it a special place to visit.
You can spend half a day here quickly. Walk around the lovely forest and discover it. Typically, the monkeys here are friendly. However, you have to feed them if you intend to talk and interact with them.

GOA GAJAH CAVE TEMPLE
Goa Gajah near Ubud is an elephant-shaped cave temple at the end of the dark tunnel passage, with a Shiv lingam and a Ganesha idol inside. This location is especially influenced by stone carvings of different demons and characters representing mythological tales.
A significant stop on your way from Ubud to Kintamani should be Goa Gajah. You will appreciate a good hour here, with some restaurants and shops nearby.
PURA ULUN DANU BRATAN

Dewi Danu, the Deity of water bodies, is worshipped here. There are 11 floors in the temple and the building is also awe-inspiring. The overwhelming elegance of the majestic building, the calmness of the surrounding water, and the mountainous landscape together create a surreal atmosphere.
TANAH LOT TEMPLE
All along Bali’s south-west coast, there is a chain of temples considered to shield the nation from the ocean’s perils. In this chain, Tanah Lot is the most significant of the seven temples in Bali. It is about 20 kilometers from Denpasar, the capital city.
The temple of Tanah Lot dates back to the 15th century and was founded by Nirartha, a priest. Amid the sunset and the sea, the temple looks magnificent. Vast numbers of visitors stampede Tanah Lot to watch the sunset every day. You can find all kinds of souvenir shops, restaurants, and hawkers selling trinkets in this location, which is very commercialized.
