Though Chinese restaurants are plentiful, finding a Japanese restaurant in the city that takes its cuisine seriously is not always easy. In the labyrinth of Pan Asian food, several restaurants do many cuisines with similar zeal–and therefore, not enough zeal. In the haze of multi-cuisine restaurants, we discovered seven quality restaurants in Delhi that treat their Sashimi and Teppenkyaki like it’s life or death. And although there are a handful of Pan-Asian entries, they prize their Japanese above all else, so they get credit for attempting (and succeeding)–but for the most part, the purists retain the fort.
When you need to recover from a long day’s work and relax, a warm cup of Miso Soup and Ramen is ideal. Suppose you think sushi and sticky rice are the only items that Japanese cuisine consists of. In that case, you should surely check out these Japanese restaurants in Delhi. These restaurants in Delhi will provide you with authentic Japanese flavors and tastes.
Fuji
If you’re looking for the best Japanese food in Delhi, look no further than this secret Japanese restaurant. Suppose you are unfamiliar with the streets of Connaught Town. In that case, it may be difficult to locate this location, but it is well worth the effort. Fuji is known for its exquisite Japanese cuisine and excellent service. There are several sushi restaurants, but Fuji is renowned for its traditional Japanese cooking styles and regional cuisine, such as Washoku. With Zashiki style low seating, this is one of the easiest and finest Japanese restaurants in Delhi.
Floor arrangement and minimalist ivory interiors gave this spot more authenticity than you’d anticipate from central Delhi’s fast-changing restaurants, which replace each other Doctor Who on Speed. Fuji serves quality Soba, Katsu, and Teriyaki at a more reasonable price than most of the entries on this list (Japanese is rarely cheap). The Yaki Tori is well-known for being a crowd pleaser.

People in Delhi enjoy fast working lunches. Kofuku is the safest way to do so. The ambiance of this Japanese restaurant is warm and serene, and people return to time and again. Aerocity has been exploding at the seams with gleaming new addresses in 2017, but it’s difficult to tell which ones glow in the light. Kampai, a modern, lightweight fine-dining room that does sushi and sake in style, is a select few. Order a combination of the Ebi Tempura, Tekka Maki (Tuna Roll), Buta Kakuni (braised pork belly in soy sauce), and Teppanyaki Lobster. Akira Back
This modern Japanese restaurant, which brings all the flair and elegance of Back’s LA original to the Marriott in Delhi, is particularly fascinating because of the Korean spices used on the menu. At the upscale Aerocity location, you’ll find decent food, but most importantly, interesting creativity. The Ahi Tuna Cold Shared Pizza and Miso Black Cod are unquestionably the standouts. Still, the Wasabi Pepper Tenderloin remains one of their best-kept secrets.
When it comes to a great Japanese fine-dining experience, Akira Back is the place to go. Akira’s back is well-known for those who travel to India for work from Japan and Korea. Though the restaurant is named after famous Korean chef Akira Back, they also serve nice Japanese cuisine. This restaurant is one of the best in Delhi for fantastic Japanese Korean seafood.

Enoki
Enoki is a foodie’s heaven with Japanese and Asian cuisine. It has long been a local favorite, and it is a distribution zone that serves delicious Japanese and Asian cuisine. They have three locations in Delhi, and we recently visited the one in Greater Kailash 1 (GK1), which was unquestionably fantastic. One thing that makes you feel flattered is the perfect presentation of the dishes. We bought a couple of Japanese dishes, which were all wonderfully arranged and tasty. Their salmon, as well as their prawn dishes, are excellent. Enoki is, without a doubt, one of the best Japanese restaurants in Delhi.

Shibuya Food & Bar
Shibuya, which is well-lit during the day and mood-lit at night, is ideal for both a sushi-heavy brunch and a Teppanyaki-heavy dinner. The fake sakura dangling from the ceiling and pop-art of women enjoying sushi may be off-putting, but they perform in their own kitschy way. The real draws are their Prawn Udon Noodles, Ceviche Tempura Rolls, and Scallop Sashimi.

If you like sushi, this Japanese restaurant in Punjabi Bagh’s central market can steal your heart. You do not find the interiors particularly impressive. Still, once you try their PokeBowl and sushi, you will surely reconsider your opinion of this establishment. They serve a wide variety of authentic Japanese dishes that are both tasty and filling. Dashi’s Dim Sum is well-known and regarded as one of the best in Delhi. Their dessert is also outstanding, as is their service.
