The signs of heat exhaustion or a heat stroke include labored breathing and strange head movements. A veterinarian should be called to the scene or the animal should be taken to the closest veterinary institution after cooling the animal down with lots of room temperature water and a damp towel.

Stay alert and save a life:

Watch out for any creatures you see outside. Make that they have enough shelter and water. Give the animal water right away and get in touch with humane authorities if you see it in distress.
