Shweta Sharda was crowned Miss Diva Universe 2023 on Sunday at the Miss Diva contest in Mumbai.
Shweta, who was crowned Miss Diva Universe 2022, will now represent India at the 72nd Miss Universe pageant, which will be held in El Salvador later this year in November.
Shweta looked stunning in a shimmering thigh-slit gown made by Nikita Mhaisalkar at the beauty pageant’s grand finale.
As Divita Rai crowned her, the diva became emotional and cried.
Sonal Kukreja of Delhi was crowned Miss Diva Supranational 2023, and Trisha Shetty of Karnataka was named Miss Diva Universe 2023 runner-up. Kukreja will represent India in the 12th Miss Supranational pageant.

Shweta, who was born in Chandigarh, moved to Mumbai when she was 16 years old. Shweta had to struggle throughout her early years in the city due to financial difficulties, according to Femina Beauty Pageants.
The 22-year-old was reared by her single mother. “Who is the most influential person in your life?” During the Q&A segment of the finale, Shweta was questioned. She gave her mother’s name.
According to Femina Beauty Pageants, Shweta Sharda completed her education through the CBSE board and is currently pursuing her graduation via the Indira Gandhi National Open University.
The title winner has been in a variety of dance reality shows, including Dance+, Dance Deewane, and Dance India Dance, or DID. She was a choreographer for Jhalak Dikhlaja as well.
On the pageant page, she also stated, “When I got a chance to work and teach my dancing to India’s most loveable actors I had seen on television or the big screen, such as Deepika Padukone, Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Mouni Roy as well as Vaibhavi Merchant, the evergreen diva Madhuri Dixit!”
Shweta, who looks up to Sushmita Sen, has over 4 lakh Instagram followers and has become a social media celebrity.
She recently participated in a music video for the song Mast Aankhein, sung by Zubin Nautiyal and Tulsi Kumar, alongside Bollywood actor Shantanu Maheshwari.

The beauty pageant’s 11th edition permitted married, divorced, pregnant, engaged, widowed, & transgender women to compete.
Celebrities who attended the Miss Diva 2023 grand finale included Femina Miss India 1980 Sangeeta Bijlani, Femina Miss India World 2023 Nandini Gupta, Mr. World 2016 Rohit Khandelwal, & Mister Supranational Asia and the Oceania 2017 Altamash Faraz.
