PM Modi urged investors at the ‘Semicon India Conference 2023‘ in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, “You have to develop a chip-making ecosystem for Indians.” Whoever comes forward first, I feel, will have an advantage.” The Conference’s subject is “Catalyzing India’s Semiconductor Ecosystem.”
It aspires to bring together global leaders from business, academia, and research. It demonstrates India’s semiconductor strategy and philosophy, which aims to make the country a global hub for semiconductor design, manufacture, and technological development.
According to him, India is developing as a reliable partner in the global semiconductor supply chain.
