- Bar Hanging: This is one of the most popular exercises for good height. You need to simply hang on a bar with your hands straight and a shoulder-wide grip. While hanging, try to keep your core straight and it will result in your spine getting stretched due to the weight of your lower torso. This exercise can be done by both boys and girls and you can easily add 1 to 2 inches to your height if you perform this exercise daily for a continuous time period. Apart from giving you a good height, this exercise also helps in strengthening your arms. Try to extend your hanging period to 20 to 30 seconds and perform 3 to 4 repetitions of this exercise every day.

To perform a perfect cobra stretch, lie down on your stomach on the floor or a mat with your palms facing the ground under your shoulder. Now, lift your head and arch your spine upwards and tilt your head upwards to face the ceiling. Bend as much as you can to create an angle with your arch. Hold for 10-30 seconds. - Forward Bend: This exercise involves touching your toes with your fingertips with your upper body bending downwards in the forward direction. You need no special equipment for this exercise and can perform this both at the beginning and the end of your workout. A well-known exercise, the forward bend move helps in the stimulation of the muscles in your back and calves. Your knees should not be bent during this exercise. However, you can start with a bent knee, try to keep it straight as you start getting command over the pose. This is a good exercise for kids and teenagers. However, this exercise is not recommended for adults as it compresses the anterior head of the vertebrae, especially in the lumbar region, and it could lead to a decrease in your height.
