A good height is something that everyone wants. A good height makes you look good and enhances your personality, and adds to your self-confidence. How tall you are depending on a lot of factors. It is nothing but a standing forward bent where you hold the part of legs above your ankles with your hands while bending forward. To do this exercise, you need to stand straight and stretch your arms overhead. Next, you need to bend forward so that your head touches your knees. Hold the posture for 30 seconds and return to the original position. This pose is known to elongate the spine and stretch and hamstring.

Surya Namaskara is one of the most complex and most beneficial yoga poses. It is actually a combination of several poses. The pose can be divided into 12 different poses. It starts from Pranamasana and goes to Hasta Uttanasana, Padahastasana, Ashwa Sanchalanasana, Parvatasana, Ashtang Namaskar, Bhujangasana, Parvatasana, Ashwa Sanchalanasana, Padahastasana, Hastauttanasana and then the cycle completes at Pranamasana. The pose not only boosts your body growth but also increases flexibility.

Sukhasana:

Sukhasana is one of the easiest Yoga poses. It is, in fact, known as the Easy Pose. Also known as Pleasant Pose or Decent Pose, Sukhasana is the base of all the yoga poses. This pose involves controlling the breathing pattern that helps in toning up the lower back. All you have to do is sit on the floor with your legs folded and place your hands on your knees in the Chin mudra. Keep your back straight and breathe normally. Hold the posture for 2 to 3 minutes at least.

Tadasana:

Tadasana or Mountain Pose is where you stretch your arms to make your back and your legs stronger. All you have to do is stand on the floor with your feet slightly apart and the bodyweight evenly distributed on your feet. Interlock your fingers and stretch your arms while standing straight. It is one of the oldest exercises for increasing height naturally. It also improves the agility of the body.

Wheel Pose:

Also known as Chakrasana or Urdhva Dhanurasana, Wheel Pose is a little complex pose to perform. But once you can do the basic poses, it won’t take you long to learn this one. To perform this asana:

  1. Lie on your back with knees bent and feet close to the buttocks.
  2. Fold your arms from the elbow and bring your palms underneath your shoulders in such a way that your fingers are pointing towards your toes.
  3. Lift your shoulders and hips off the floor while pressing your palms and feet against the ground.
  4. Once you get the balance right, lift the head as well. This pose can help you significantly in increasing the height.

Vriksasana:

Vriks is the Sanskrit word for Tree. This pose is also known as the Tree pose. The pose demands great balance and focus. That’s why you need to warm-up well before performing this one. To do the exercise, you will need to stand straight on the ground with your feet a couple of inches apart.

Look straight as you fold the right leg from the waist and place the foot on the inner side of your left thigh. Stretch your arms upward and breathe in when you do so. Join your hands together as we do in Namaste. Continue to breathe at a normal pace and hold the pose for as long as you can. Repeat the same process with the other foot. This exercise will increase your height and help to unlock the hips and to improve body posture.
