Almost everyone has heard about Parasite, Bong Joon Ho’s black comedic thriller. Even if you haven’t watched the film yet, you will be aware of it because it made history at the Oscars 2020 by winning four major categories.
To refresh your recollection, Parasite won Best Picture, Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, and Best International Feature Film at the Academy Awards.
As I previously stated, and as Bong Joon Ho emphasized at the Oscars, the minute you break the barrier of subtitles, the world becomes your television, and you can watch any foreign language programming from any place without difficulty. If you’ve already broken through that barrier, enjoyed Parasite, and are seeking more films like it, this list is for you. We’ve compiled a list of some of the most interesting crime and mystery Korean thrillers that will leave you wanting more.
