The Lord Hanuman-dedicated Hindu temple is found along the Narnaul-Singhara highway. The statue of Lord Hanuman at the very top of an Aravali range hillock serves as the area’s focal point. Many tourists frequent the Khalda Wale Hanuman Temple, which receives hundreds of pilgrims annually. The Jal Mahal is a palace in the middle of a water tank known as the Khan Sarovar, and it is situated in Purani Mandi of the city of Narnaul. Persian inscriptions can be found on the main entrance, which was built by Nawab Shah Quil Khan. The chamber’s interior has an octagonal-shaped roof and four staircases on each side. During Akbar’s reign, the building was built in 1590–1591 AD, and the tank was added later.

Chor Gumbad

The Chor Gumbad, which is located on a hilltop to the north of the town, is the most well-known structure in Narnaul. The Gumbad, which is regarded as the town’s landmark, has four minarets on each side and a veranda that runs the length of the structure. The original monument, built by Afghan Jamal Khan, was probably a tomb.

There are currently no graves inside the building, which was probably constructed during the reign of Firoz Shah Tughlaq. The monument is undoubtedly a location that should be seen to appreciate both the intricate architecture of the structure and the stunning minarets that adorn the former tomb. Birbal’s “chatta”

When Shah Jahan was in power in 1628 AD, Ray-i-Rayan Mukand Dass, the former Diwan of Narnaul, built Birbal ka Chatta, a stunning five-story building with numerous rooms and halls. Outside, a marble fountain is decorated with lovely lights. The structure is charmingly enhanced by the luminous white marble used in construction. According to legend, the structure once contained tunnels to Jaipur that Akbar and Birbal frequently used. The building has been named after Chhatta of Birbal, another name for it.

One of the most well-known structures from that era is the water tank known as Mirza Alijan’s Takht a Baoli, which was constructed by Mirza Ali when he was the Nawab of Narnaul during the reign of Akbar. The “Takht” and a “chhatri” are on pillars in the main building, which is shaped like an arch. The main entrance to the baoli has a “Takht,” and the baoli continues into the well. The boali and the monument that goes with it are both lovely sights to see, and they are both located in the city’s Chota-Bada Talab neighborhood. The monument, which is thought to have been built between 1556 and 1605 AD, is definitely worth a visit!
