Don’t worry. With this post, we’re not going to chase you for life but rather show you a collection of beautiful schools around the world that will make you want to go back to high school and do assignments.
We all know how valuable education is, but we must admit that a positive atmosphere and a new approach will also encourage students to do better and enjoy the time they spend learning. We spend a significant period of our time in school in addition to college, and some are fortunate enough to spend it in excellent classrooms with ultra-modern services, historic structures, or sustainable landscapes.
There are some schools out there that stand except for conventional ones. We don’t say schools in the Ivy League, but award-winning houses, distinct strategies, and equity programs. Inclusivity, hobbies, research groups, technology, nutrition, or satisfaction are currently the schools’ subject. Focusing on those soft skills might seem insane, but anything else must follow as our world changes.
Now let’s see what a great school is like, what we can learn from it, and where we can find it.
University of Nanyang, Singapore
Most of Singapore’s buildings look like they are out of this dimension. Their architecture, along with their elevated rate and quality, seems to blend with nature. This university is in the Top 500, ranking 57. Any of Nanyang University’s buildings are beautiful works of art, with grass roofs and rounded curves that give organic architecture.
They combine nature with natural materials, as we can see in The Hive, their learning center. They spent $45 million on the house. With so much greenery, sun, natural sunshine, and curves, it’s one of the few universities. For foreign students, the annual tuition rate for a year is about $30,000.
Durham University, England
England is packed with historic castles from their finest days. Some of them fell bankrupt, and some were donated to colleges that were newly established. That’s precisely what happened at Durham Castle, and it was donated to the University of Durham.
In the 18th century, the incredible structure used to be a church, then a palace. Today, it is one of the oldest structures on the planet that is still used to host a university. It is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, so you can visualize how magnificent and elegant the castle looks like, converted into a classroom.
Phoenix’s Biomedical Sciences Partnership Building
Any colleges in America also draw cues from their landmarks. The Phoenix’s Biomedical Sciences Partnership Building leads you to think you’re in the Rocky Mountains, with red, brown, and orange exterior and textured surfaces.
The twisting paths between buildings imitate the narrow passages found in the rugged landscape of Arizona. At the same time, a study is equipped with some of the latest technologies and equipment inside. They used 90% recycled copper for the exterior, and the project was recognized for several awards.
Ivy Bound International School, Bangkok
We turn our attention this time to Bangkok and their innovative school for children between the ages of 1,5 and 7. It’s sort like a nursery school, but with a distinct approach. They strive to encourage the children to be more aware and compassionate of others and themselves because the area is so culturally diverse.
This attitude towards children will encourage kids to be more open-minded, adventurous, and imaginative at such a young age. Ivy League alumni created the school, and it has new facilities as well as impressive architecture. This is pretty much the place any modern parent needs for their kids.
École Maternelle Pajol, Paris
How would you do if you could see rainbows, flowers, and fun stuff every day at school? Pretty happy, perhaps, which is how everyone in school should feel. The École Maternelle Pajol in Paris is one of the world’s most colorful schools.
Within and out, the newly renovated building is vibrant, full of wood, grass, and rubber textures, and built to make you feel comfortable and have an excellent time. The primary goal was to enhance children’s feelings and imagination, and we think they’ve done it.
Meditation instead of detention, Baltimore
The slightest improvements will also have the most remarkable outcomes. A school in Baltimore, USA, chose to substitute meditation for incarceration. Instead of prosecuting them, they worked with the Holistic Life Foundation to support children with anxiety and other concerns.
With this approach, they had impressive effects, and the dismissal rates in the school declined considerably. In school and, most importantly, in life, practicing meditation helps them perform well. At a young age, this highlights just how critical mental health is.
Green School, Bali
The ecological and eco-friendly movement is now penetrating the framework of education. A green school built from the most renewable materials, fuelled by the sun, located in nature and inclusive, was opened in Bali by a couple of ex-pats.
Among other traditional subjects, such as math or languages, cooking, planting, and even Balinese traditional mud wrestling, they teach students how to make it sustainable. Teachers and students come from all over the world, but they maintain a Balinese law of 20 percent. The most fantastic drawback is their tuition charge, which is about $7,000-$16,000 monthly. Anything more than that. It’s the best spot for a school outing.
Brooklyn Free School, New York
A new movement in education, the one of inclusivity and absolute liberation, has arisen in America since the hippie age of the 60s and 70s. That’s how the Brooklyn Free School was originated. A school where children have no curriculum and where anything that happens in school is determined by them.
Their philosophy is that learners should decide whether they want to learn, how they want to study, and when. There are no marks, no exams, courses are non-compulsory, and they get no homework. Students select themselves for graduation and go to college like others who take standardized examinations, demonstrating that this school style works. There is some debate about the school and the whole philosophy, as you might expect.
Erika Mann Elementary School, Berlin
Most schools are planned by adults to follow those laws that train you in your pre-adult life for adult life instead of the next step. Berlin’s Erika Mann Elementary School is unique, built by children for children.

This school has listened to its students and their needs in collaboration with a team of architecture students. Kids like their education this way, and you can do well because you want to go to school. Needless to say, it’s full of hammocks, dolls, pillows, and fun objects, making it look more like a nursery than an impressive institution.
Druk White Lotus School, India
Its founder is the most significant thing about this school. It was commissioned by the Dalai Lama personally and is one of the world’s highest schools, established in the mountains at an elevation of 3,500 meters. The school is open 6 months a year and operates on renewable energy, too.
It was designed with local materials and professional builders and is now teaching a basic curriculum and leadership and problem-solving lessons to the children in that rural area. The school has received many significant awards and is sponsored by honorary patrons, such as Joanna Lumley and Richard Gere.
School of the future, Philadelphia
The modern technological era is training kids to live a life where everything is digitalized. Philadelphia’s School of the Future still gives its students computers and tablets, replacing all classical books and notes with electronics.
Microsoft developed the framework to be a prototype that can be repeated on a conventional budget around the country and worldwide. While this school has been won many times, most Silicon Valley tech moguls ironically enroll their children in zero-technology classes.
Clintondale High School, Detroit
Over the years, this modern form of education has seen a lot of change, and it should be embraced by many schools around the world. It’s a different idea where homework is completed during the day, while the lessons are taken online at home during the night.
In the beginning, this unique approach didn’t turn out too well, but it is making improvements. Students study by online classes in this method and then do the homework the following day with the classroom teachers. With this notion, the school’s theory came out, and they are now being researched by Harvard.
There are some great schools where children get to learn these days. School and education are continually evolving. More people are showing that educating and encouraging young minds does not require a unique and rigid process.
Today, classrooms work on many other things, and ideally, the adults they carry out will change the future. Now that we have seen what children are learning today in kindergarten let us know what you think they should learn and why.
Write it down in the accompanying comments.
