The National Education Policy, or NEP 2020, celebrates its third anniversary on the same day as the “Samagam.” We value both ancient and modern forms of education equally, Prime Minister Modi said in his remarks at the Akhil Bhartiya Shiksha Samagam. The Akhil Bhartiya Shiksha Samagam 2023 was formally inaugurated on July 29 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi asserts that education “has the power to change the country’s course. Education is important when it comes to achieving the objective that the government is moving forward with. I mean, you support this. For me, it’s important to have the opportunity to be a member of Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Samagam.

Social science and engineering education will now be given in Indian languages. According to PM Modi, NEP has made it feasible and all languages will be respected. For use in teaching more than 130 courses, NCERT is producing newsbooks in all 22 Indian languages.

“Three years ago, when we introduced the National Education Policy, we had a great task ahead of us, but the passion and commitment shown by all of you in putting the NEP into practice and accepting novel concepts and methods While praising NEP 2020, PM Modi remarked, “The boldness demonstrated is quite amazing and inspires fresh confidence. 

“The worst injustice is when young people are judged based on their language rather than their potential. The true justice towards youth is going to commence because of the education in the home language by NEP 2020,” PM Modi added.

Providing a venue for various participants in the education sector is the aim of the two-day Akhil Bhartiya Shiksha Samagam, which is scheduled for July 29 and July 30. The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 will be implemented by academics, sector experts, policymakers, industry representatives, teachers, and students from schools, higher education institutions, and skilling organizations who will come together to share their valuable insights, success stories, and best practices.

The event will be centered on strategizing and identifying approaches to promote NEP 2020’s implementation, guaranteeing its effective execution and influence on the educational environment.

The Akhil Bhartiya Shiksha Samagam will feature sixteen in-depth sessions on a range of subjects, including ensuring access to high-quality governance and education, promoting equitable and inclusive education, addressing the challenges faced by socioeconomically disadvantaged groups, learning about the National Institute Ranking Framework, preserving the rich heritage of the Indian knowledge system, and promoting the internationalization of education, among others.
