Indian Ambassador to Nepal Naveen Shrivastava gave the keys to the automobiles to the represented organisations in the presence of Ashok Kumar Rai, the Minister of Education, Science, and Technology of Nepal.

“This has been one of the long-standing traditions of the Government of India under the Nepal-India Development Partnership Programme to support the efforts of the Government of Nepal to strengthen its infrastructure in the health and education sectors,” Srivastava said in a statement issued by the Indian embassy in Nepal.

Nepal-India Relations: India and Nepal have been more than just neighbours to one other for generations, cultivating close friendships. India gave 84 vehicles, including 34 ambulances and 50 school buses, to various groups in Nepal on Sunday, according to local media, taking this step further.

According to the Indian Embassy in Nepal, India gave 84 cars on Sunday to various institutions working in Nepal’s health and education sectors.

In the presence of Nepal’s Minister of Education, Science, and Technology Ashok Kumar Rai, Indian Ambassador Naveen Srivastava presented the keys of 50 school buses and 34 ambulances to representing organisation.

“Gifting of vehicles has been one of the long-standing traditions of the Government of India under the Nepal-India Development Partnership Programme to bolster the efforts of the Government of Nepal to strengthen its infrastructure in the health and education sectors,” Srivastava added. Since 1994, India has donated 974 ambulances and 234 school buses to health and educational groups in Nepal, not counting the most recent batch.
