To encourage young people to pursue careers in forestry and the environment, the Delhi government started an internship program on Sunday. The program’s objective is to offer young people brief exposure and an understanding of how the various divisions of the Department of Forests and Wildlife, GNCTD, operate.

This website, internship.eforest.delhi.gov.in, was launched at the fourth Van Mahotsav celebration held at Delhi University’s Polo Ground.

Candidates should be aware that only online applications will be accepted, and that they must be submitted at least three months before the intended start date, clearly stating the period for which an internship is required. To apply for an internship, applicants must submit a Statement of Purpose (SoP) that is no longer than 1000 words.

A “Certificate” and a grade based on the intern’s performance will be given to the interns upon successful completion of the internship. Candidates should be aware that there will be no stipend provided.
