A new generation of comedians has formed as a result of the rise in popularity of YouTube. Kenneth Mathew Sebastian, better known by his stage name Kenny Sebastian, is an Indian stand up comedian indian, singer, and filmmaker born on 31 December 1990. He originally gained notoriety through a YouTube channel that has accumulated 152 million views since 2008 and features video from his standup gigs, devotional music covers, and original sketches. Kenny Sebastian is a comedian, musician, and filmmaker who has performed stand up comedy worldwide and published many comedy specials.

Kenny created songs from tweets, which he dubbed #KennySing4Me. This was the source of his initial fame. Kenny recently started working as a judge on Amazon Prime Video’s Comicstaan, a comedy hunt reality program.

CNN-IBN named her one of the Top 30 Witty, Intellectual, and Extremely Entertaining Indian Women to Follow on Twitter. She now has her own Netflix special, titled “Things They Wouldn’t Let Me Say.” Mittal was included in the American documentary Stand-Up Planet, which portrays a stand up comic’s mission to uncover some of the finest comedy worldwide, alongside American and South African comics.

Biswa, an IIT graduate, became renowned after hosting a YouTube show called “Pretentious Movie Reviews.” Biswa stepped to the stage after leaving his corporate job at Oracle and frequently speaks on IIT and work-life challenges.

He’s done several solo programs, including ‘Biswa In Your Face’ and ‘Biswa Mast Aadmi,’ and hosting and appearing on some AIB shows. He worked in graphic design, advertising, and software after graduating in Biotechnology from IIT Kharagpur in 2012. He met Kanan Gill during an open mic session in Bangalore in 2013 at this period. Anubhav Singh Bassi’s life has been a roller coaster, from being a lawyer and UPSC candidate to starting a food company with friends and ultimately ending up on stage as a stand up comedian Indian. In 2017, he appeared in the film Meri Pyaari Bindu in a supporting role.

9)Kanan Gill

Kanan grew up in Dehradun and Delhi after being born in Bareilly. He is a standup comedian, actor, and YouTuber from India. He was the winner of the Bangalore Punch Line Competition. He is most known for anchoring the YouTube series Pretentious Movie Reviews. He and fellow standup comedian Biswa Kalyan Rath discuss campy Bollywood flicks. He co-hosted the YouTube FanFest India and was one of the primary figures behind the YouTube Comedy Hunt and made his big-screen debut opposite Sonakshi Sinha in the film Noor.

10)Radhika Vaz

Radhika Vaz, an Indian comedian and writer, was born in 1973. Vaz, born in Mumbai and worked as an advertising executive in Chennai, holds a master’s degree in advertising from Syracuse University in New York. She is a columnist for The Times of India and educated at Groundlings School in Los Angeles and Improvolution in New York. Radhika Vaz enrolled in an improvisational theatre class, which she claims aided her in her early days as a performer and writer.
