Netflix is preparing to premiere a new Korean drama soon after Christmas Eve. The South Korean content mill does not take a break, and as a result, there is an increasing amount of stuff to watch. The South Korean business has mastered the art of creating and distributing material that people from all over the world can appreciate. The demand is tremendous, and Netflix is prepared to satisfy it by releasing some of the top titles in the business daily in Asian nations. The most recent is The Interest of Love.
The Interest of Love is a JTBC television series that is released internationally on Netflix. Sarangi Yihae, a novel authored by Lee Hyeok-jin, serves as the basis for the series. Yoo Yeon-Seok, Mun Ka-Young, Keum Sae-rok, and Jung Ga-ram feature in the series. The series follows a group of KCU Bank employees as they struggle with the rigors of work and their personal life. The series also centers on a specific couple of characters who fall in love while working at the bank.
When you’ve seen as many Korean dramas as I have, you’ll see that the formula is the same. Not only are we discussing the tale and how the characters interact with one another, but we are also discussing all of the aesthetic components that comprise the piece’s visuals, tone, and mood. All of these variables have been computed and interpreted into a set of values that are simple to repeat. This is why it makes no difference who directs; every Korean drama looks precisely like the dozen before and after it.
The Interest of Love adheres to all of these principles, yielding yet another Korean drama that looks and feels precisely like the others. It’s reassuring to know that you’ll always get precisely what you expect. However, when that is all you get from a genre and, in this case, an entire business. Then it appears that these companies and producers might be doing a lot more with the money and time they have available when making shows like this.
For the most part, the program is highly enjoyable and chronicles the narrative of two individuals who appear to be perfect for one other at first, but then aren’t, and then are again.
This back-and-forth over whether they will or will not? It can get grating as the story develops, but there is a segment of the audience that will undoubtedly devour this great tale, and this is the segment of the audience for which the series is designed. If you are not already a fan of the genre, The Interest of Love will not convert you into one.

The cast is fantastic. South Korean television is quite good at determining who has and who cannot be charming. Being likable and pleasant may practically make you an international sensation in the Korean drama genre, even if your acting talents aren’t the finest. We can’t state that the show’s acting is fantastic. It might be rigid and dull at times. The performers might also be seen reciting lines from beyond the screen. This is unimportant since they are all so charming, and you just want to see them thrive.
Visually, the series nails the corporate image that pervades the lives of Korean and Asian office employees. The bank office, where much of the action takes place, becomes a familiar setting.
It contains all the subtle nuances that can only be found in a setting that is meant to be both warm and antiseptic at the same time. We’ve all been in or worked in an environment like that, and the exhibition brings out the beauty of the teeth.
However, while everything appears to be functioning on the surface, we can state that the characters themselves, which is a fault with the script more than the performers, may be a little aggravating. For example, our main male can be frustrating to watch as he attempts to navigate the rivers of love, while our leading woman defaults into a gorgeous girl with an icy heart. The goal is to melt her heart and get her to act like a human being. 16 episodes of that can be a bit much, especially since each episode is more than an hour long.
