The artificial city from the 2021 Kdrama might be the warning sign you didn’t notice. Whether you want to watch or not, you must be warned.
On February 10, 2022, the JTBC drama Artificial City came to an end. With a wide variety of characters and hopes for an excellent tale build-up, Artificial City got off to a strong start.

Nevertheless, Artificial City failed to live up to expectations and didn’t manage to deliver until the very end, despite having the makings of a fantastic plot. That is a subjective interpretation, perhaps as a result of what viewers expect from the Kdrama.
We were struck dumbfounded by the open finale, and there are numerous possible interpretations of how events might have developed. The core query, however, is still, “Is Artificial City Kdrama Worth Watching?
If it had been another Kdrama, perhaps a one-line review would have been plenty to decide whether to watch it or not. Unexpectedly, it differs slightly from other Kdramas on the market.

Artificial City did attempt to demonstrate a similar idea differently. In terms of the plot and character development, some things were done well, and for what it’s worth, the Korean drama Artificial City is worth binge-watching all at once.
But there’s a big exception coming, a bit of a “but.” Perhaps because we fans are so accustomed to viewing dramas in the hopes of receiving some karmic justice in a world where evil never triumphs, Artificial City failed to deliver at the end.

Yoon Jae Hui and the mother-in-altercation law’s
The conflict between Yoon Jae Hui, the lady who rose from poverty to wealth, and her upper-class in-laws, particularly her mother-in-law, was what made Artificial City interesting to watch.
Seo Han Sook, Yoon Jae Hui’s mother-in-law, is a highly sneaky and dominating individual who is skilled at finding people’s vulnerabilities and using them as leverage for blackmail. Yoon Jae Hui, in comparison, is hardly an angel; in fact, she is somewhat worse than her mother-in-law.
In what circumstances would it be acceptable to tolerate the serial infidelity of a trashy spouse? It’s so ludicrous that the desire for power may make someone go nuts.
Well done Yoon Jae Hui if she hasn’t already gone insane from putting up with her husband’s and her in-laws’ crap and treating her like garbage. One could go nuts from the incessant struggle to find acceptance, validation, and relief from emotional suffering.

Given that she had to deal with her exceedingly difficult in-laws Lee Jo Yeon and Jung Pil Sung, Yoon Jae Hui’s longevity is surprising. If it makes sense, neither of them would pass up the chance to put her in her “so-called place.”
Unfortunately, you can’t relate the reasoning for choosing her ex-lover, Park Jung Ho, who is now a prosecutor, above the great power, social standing, and money. Now, sadly, he’s another miserable character.
In Artificial City, the idea of doing wrong and getting away with it—especially murder—feels particularly ludicrous. Is there any unpunished crime?
Well, looking back, the terrifying You definitely don’t want to annoy Seo Han Sook in any way. from extortion, kidnapping, deceit, blackmail, and manipulation. She is in control and will stop at nothing to keep her realm safe.

Jung Yoon Hyeok’s heinous deeds
The most unbelievable character you might ever meet was the adulterous Jung Yoon Hyeok. He doesn’t feel guilty when he assaults someone or uses them for his own convenience, yet he still demands perfection from her wife.
Every chance he gets, Jung Yoon Hyeok wouldn’t mind committing infidelity against Yoon Jae Hui. Worse still, he feels unacceptance toward his biological relatives who were born through marriage.
Even if no one encouraged him to lie, Yoon Jae Hui or his mother is likely to be used by the man who will be running for president.
He acts miserable, as though he is giving a great deal up for the family, but in reality, he is a narcissist and a real whiner who cries out to his mother whenever things don’t go his way. Mid-level sociopath Jung Yoon Hyeok appears insane and bears no regret for his crimes against others.
Kim Yi Seol’s Method for Pursuing Justice

Kim Yi Seol approached Yoon Jae Hui from the outset in an attempt to get justice for her buddy, but in vain. Seo Han Sook, the devil in human form, had everything under control, thus there was no way to win.
It was a dream or perhaps a far-fetched thought for Kim Yi Seol to think that she could save Yoon Jae Hui from the suffocating and dreadful torture.
One of the nicest aspects of Artificial City was the females’ apparent friendship with one another. Not long ago, the relationship between Yoon Jae Hui and Kim Yi Seol became strained.
Yoon Jae Hui wasn’t going to give up the keys to the castle she had spent years creating because people don’t change.
The irresponsible Han Dong Min

Sadly, Han Dong Min was Artificial City’s strangest character. His concept of shoddy justice and feeble reasoning was truly repulsive. He hardly spoke, only barking.
Although Han Dong Min could make a decision, we all knew what he may ultimately do. It was blatantly unjustified for him to give in to pressure and then criticize Yoon Jae Hui for it as a reporter.
The desire to be cordial with his closest ally, Sunbae Jung Joon Hyeok, was both somewhat puzzling and fairly evident. He couldn’t be much more than a supporting figure who was simple to control.
Park Jung Ho is always the purifier
Park Jung Ho was arguably the only acceptable character in Artificial City. He had an extremely challenging life, having to clean up after everyone else’s messes, including those of his ex-lover and boss. He deserves a standing ovation for his tenacity and capacity to put up with the bullshit from practically everyone.
The drab conclusion

The most dismal conclusion in the annals of Korean drama. With its ludicrous open conclusion, Artificial City leaves you with a bad aftertaste. For a twist, evil triumphs, and Yoon Jae Hui was expelled from her kingdom.
Let’s assume that the most recent episode never occurred. The two-timing cheating husband/trash is probably raising his son and having a happy and satisfying life with his love flames. In the struggle for control, Yoon Jae Hui loses her kid. The last.
It’s up to you whether or not you want to watch Artificial City. To be completely honest, the conclusion was rather underwhelming. Although the acting and cast were excellent, the plot was terrible.
