Animals have coexisted with humans for a very long period. Whether wild or pet, animals have learned to live with humans. Animals are a very important part of the food chain and they make the world more beautiful. One trait that is admirable about animals is that they are always true to their nature and do not change it for anyone. If we talk about pet animals, they are extremely loyal and treat their masters like their family. There have been uncountable incidents when pet animals have gone out of their way to prove their worth and loyalty.

The first animal that comes to the mind when we talk of loyalty is a dog. Dogs are adorable, brave, loyal and smart. They bond easily and are willing to give everything for their family. There’s hardly anyone who doesn’t love dogs. From military operations to a walk around the park, dogs are willing to accompany their masters everywhere and no matter how strong they become, they always listen to their masters’ command. Sadly, humans haven’t been successful in reciprocating the love they receive from dogs but not everyone’s the same. There are several movies based on dogs and we are going to suggest some of the best for you.

Isle of Dogs

The 2018 film by Wes Anderson covers a sad story of dogs being cornered to an alienated part of the world due to a surge in canine flu. It is a very powerful message consisting of different dog characters that send out a very strong message to the society. Arguably the best animal movie of 2018, Isle of Dogs is a heart-winning performance consisting of funny, lovable and entertaining characters. The film reaches out to an adult audience teaching them about the feelings of the furry babies.

Hachi: A Dog’s Tale

Hachi is one of the best dog movies ever made and this one is also my personal favourite. However, it makes it to the list, not because of favouritism but because it deserves to be. The heartwarming movie is a story of an abandoned puppy who is adopted by a professor. The movie portrays a strong bond between the professor and the puppy. If you are emotionally connected to dogs, you might even cry while watching this movie. The movie has been winning hearts since its release in 2009.

Togo

The movie came out in 2019 and it is another wonderful movie that is recommended to be watched with a tissue box, not to you. Leonhard Seppala leads a pack of sledge dogs in a snow-laden town and pulls out some unimaginable rides defeating death. The movie is based on a real story. Togo, a weak dog amazes his master with extraordinary grit and determination becoming a favourite of his master. The movie is both beautiful and tragic at the same time.

Marley & Me

It is the story of a married couple who decides to adopt a dog in order to become responsible. Marley enters their life and teaches them several important lessons while remaining to be a notorious baby. Despite throwing tantrums, dogs make our lives easier in a lot of ways and Marley does exactly that. The film beautifully portrays the bond between a dog and its masters. Every pet owner can relate to this wonderful piece of art that came out in 2008.

You expect a lot of emotions, drama and tears while watching a dog movie. This one is completely different. It’s a comedy-drama that will send you into splits. The movie was released in 200 and has been tickling people’s funny bones since then. The movie tends to mock a Philadelphia dog show and consists of several funny characters.
