The spy action movie, which was directed by Christopher McQuarrie, also features Hayley Atwell, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, and Vanessa Kirby. The story centers on a 60-something Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and his IMF crew as they attempt to defeat The Entity, a mysterious and supremely strong artificial intelligence force.

According to early estimates, the movie made $17 crore net on Sunday in India across all languages, according to a Sacnilk.com article. The movie has made a total of 63.20 crores at the box office in India to date. On July 12, the movie opened in theatres, grossing 12.3 crore.
It made 8.75 crore less on the second day. On Friday, the film’s box office revenue climbed slightly to 9.15 crore. However, the film had a major boost over the weekend, grossing 16 crore on Saturday.
Global Box Office Receipts For The Movie
As reported by Bloomberg, the seventh installment of the action-packed franchise generated $56.2 million in the opening weekend in the United States and Canada. This contrasts with forecasts of $61 million to $75 million in ticket sales from forecaster Boxoffice Pro for the Friday through Sunday timeframe, according to the report.
Over five days following its July 12 release, the movie made $80 million. Paramount Pictures, the film’s distributor, had predicted $90 million for that time.
Previous Mission: Impossible films grossed between $44.9 million to $78.8 million in the initial five days, according to Comscore Inc. data. Worldwide sales reached $155 million, based on a statement made by the studio on Sunday.
The film has been among the most eagerly awaited of the year in the theatre world. On Rotten Tomatoes, it received favorable reviews, with critic and audience approval ratings of 96% and 94%, respectively. Top Gun: Maverick, starring Cruise, had the highest domestic box office performance in 2017.
