Rakul Preet Singh was born on 10th October 1990 in New Delhi, India. She is an Indian model and actress who works primarily in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi films. She has been nominated for three Filmfare Awards South and has got a SIIMA Award.
She began her professional life while still in graduation. She competed in the Femina Miss India pageant in 2011, finishing fifth and winning five pageant titles, including People’s Choice Miss Indiatimes, Pantaloons Femina Miss Fresh Face, Femina Miss Talented, Femina Miss Beautiful Smile, and Femina Miss Beautiful Eyes. She also made her acting debut in the Kannada film Gilli (2009).
